A Message from Our Executive Chair

Unlocking AP Potential with the AP Institute (1).mp4

We're bringing  honest, practitioner-focused content. We'll discuss everything from culture to best practices to hard-learned lessons to  where our profession is heading next.

Get the Insights You Need

From culture to best and worst practices to trends and predictions.

Best Practices

What does a well-run AP function actually look like? Not in theory — in practice. This section covers the processes, workflows, and habits that high-performing AP teams have in common, with insights drawn from real experience on the front lines of finance.

AP Culture

Accounts payable teams are often the last to get credit and the first to get blamed. This section is dedicated to the people behind the process — the dynamics, the pressures, and what it actually feels like to work in AP. From managing up to building a team that doesn't burn out, AP Culture explores the human side of finance.

Worst Practices

Some of the best lessons in AP come from things going spectacularly wrong. The Worst Practices series is a candid look at the broken processes, missed signals, and organizational blind spots that create chaos. No shame, just honesty. And a little laughter.

Trends & Predictions

AP is changing fast. Automation, AI, supplier expectations, and evolving payment rails are reshaping what the function looks like and what it could become. In this series, we track where the industry is heading, separating the signal from the noise.
